Managing Director, Dennis A. Smith recently spoke at the annual conference of Rent a Dent (A New Zealand Rental Car Company) and shared the extreme importance of FUM and backlinks.
Last year Go Kiwi Internet helped all their branches into their own website (Rent-a-Dent - New Zealand Car Rental website upgrade ) and SEO efforts were put into each branch website.The second phase for this company's web presence is to build backlinks (links back to the various branch websites by satisfied customers blogging about them, links from affiliated motels and so on) and FUM (Fresh, Unique Meaningful content).
Search Engines like Google love FUM because their objective is to provide the best user experience for their customers. Finding and returning FUM content creates a better user experience. Because people are looking for FUM - so therefore the Search Engines love it.
Make sure that you too put plenty of FUM into your web presence.
