Go Kiwi Internet is delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Laidlaw to a Go Kiwi Internet Agency.Rob is based in Christchurch and has a strong background working within different businesses, and married with two littlies and another on the way, Rob loves working with people in business.
"I've been looking for an opportunity for a while now where I could help others in a mentoring way but at the same time build a business of my own," he says. "A Go Kiwi Internet Agency is a great way for me to help others in business using my previous business experiences.
Rob has a range of business skills with both management and sales experience at opposite ends of the world.
"I started in the Travel Industry, selling wholesale, and have moved through a range of business roles and spent time both Amsterdam and London, working in the financial and IT sectors. My most recent work has been assisting SMEs and Corporates in testing software plus providing various business development and investment advice."
With a strong interest in mentoring businesses and also in both technical and design, a Go Kiwi Internet Agency, esssentially website design and development, instantly appealed to him.
"I see the ongoing opportunities for growth in this industry, and love the people-based management style that Go Kiwi offers. I enjoy working with people and have found the time I have spent with Go Kiwi Internet really inspiring and motivating!" he says.
Rob's multicultural experiences and previous leadership roles in mentoring and assisting others were attractive from Go Kiwi Internet's perspective as a large part of the Go Kiwi Internet business model is to work with young people.
Building the Go Kiwi Internet team within Christchurch and mentoring others to establish other Agencies is an important part of the Go Kiwi Internet business model. Rob is keen to help newcomers - younger or less experienced in business knowledge - and is willing and able to mentor them into a successful business of their own.
