Articles Module (ART)
Comes complete with an RSS feed.
Google and other Search Engines seek fresh, unique and meaningful content. Articles such as "Latest News" or "Topic Posts" are the easiest and most productive way of keeping your website "alive" in the eyes of the Search Engines. The Articles Module displays information summarised and sorted by date of entry.
Each Article can have:
- An H1 Title (used by Search Engines),
- An individual author,
- A unique "slug" (the articles unique name in the Browser URL),
- A time and date stamp (used for sorting),
- Tag words (used for topic searching), and
- Full HTML formatting.
Summary lists of the Articles available for viewing can be placed anywhere within a web page, typically on the RHS in a vertical list. These lists can be set to display across the whole website (on every page), or on one page only, or a mixture of both.An RSS feed enables people to "plug in" to your Articles and receive them into their RSS reader automatically and instantly, without you having to do a thing! The RSS can be set to distribute the full article contents, or simply the first paragraph with a link to view the whole article on your website.
You can have multiple Article Subjects on your website. For example you may have a Retail Public Articles feed, as well as a Wholesale Articles feed. If you are selling books, you may have a series of Articles relating to recent New Zealand books, and another set of Articles relating to International topics.
